Hi, friends! Do you have any great successes to share with the group?
I’ve gotten 2 more cucumbers from my plants this year. This brings the year’s total to about a dozen so far, and seeing as the previous attempts have yielded 0-3 cucumbers, this year has been a GREAT SUCCESS.
Also I finally cleaned out some empty boxes and threw them into recycling, which is such a basic task that I am bad about actually doing and then when I finally do, oh wow doesn’t my living room look so much better!
1/2 paid for my university courses.
Finally scheduled a physical with my doctor.
Went to see dad today. He was excited to see me. At least he remembered who I was and we talked like adults.
Another cousin is probably coming to visit in late Aug. Unlike my mom’s family, I have only heard from my dad’s which is really sad, but not unexpected as most of the MAGAts I am related to have come from mom’s family. I have already made it clear that I am not going to be hosting potential refugee MAGAts either.
I suspect it might have to do with mom in the last five years or so being a major b-word to her family at times, also because mom wasn’t about handing out cash in her will to lazy shithead family who ignore her so no reason to visit.
my pool is clear again! and i have also finally successfully grown cucumbers. it’s really important to plant in twos…who knew?
