Have you had any great successes lately that you want to share?
I’ve been up to my neck on a work project – it’s been so so crazy. So much so that like every fucking thing is a fight and when I counted last month, I was coordinating project components coming in from 47 different teams. It might be more now, who the fuck knows. So you know, a fucking madhouse. Today I solved the final piece of the puzzle on a major component. It was 100% not my job to do so, but it took me about an hour of data analysis after going searching searching searching for some information to accomplish it. GREAT SUCCESS!
I haven’t done anything awesome but whoever did this gets a star.
This was outside a small shopping complex. They tacked it over an existing sign.
I love this.
As does this awesome badass for literally spitting in the face of noted formerly local (to me and brightersider at least) scumbag Ed Martin, who made us ALL win by choking on his permanent nomination for US Attorney.
Other than pissing off the wife, the only successful thing I have done recently was building a deck for a neighbor. We had some crazy cuts to match the curve of the rocks in the yard, they wanted it to go all the way to the rocks.
That’s a gorgeous deck!!
Side note in case anyone is wondering how I’m mentally coping with this project, today on a call with a lot of senior leadership someone asked how I’m so upbeat on calls and I just replied “oh it’s the hard drugs” and then started the meeting.
Nice to keep them laughing, or guessing? Your office sounds like a Dilbert cartoon.
