Happy Easter! [DOT 12/4/20]

I got the late tag in to write the DOT today, so here goes…
I’ve spent most of the weekend lazing around. I’ve been working on a puzzle and watching the following, in rotation: X-Files, Wire in the Blood, Maron, Letterkenny, and Fresh Off the Boat.
Apparently it is Easter Sunday, though it doesn’t really feel like it. I’ll be skipping church, as usual, but all my fun Spring Break plans got blown out of the water so I’m bummed about that.
Got any good Easter plans?

    • Oh, yeah. That’s the Republican way. Kick the can down the road.

To quote Heinlein: TANSTAAFL – There ain’t no such thing as a free lunch.

That said, I got one of my payments already. Don’t know where the money for the other, or my kid, is right now. I told my wife we either save it or use it for something that has long-term benefits, like paying off a credit card. Because we’re gonna pay for it eventually.

  1. Only Easter plans is going to work today. No rest for the greedy/needy.

The small town of Letterkenny (Listowel) is close to where I grew up in rural Ontario so I recognize a lot of the caricatures/archetypes.

  2. My daughter came for breakfast, I made your potatoes and she loved them! The rest of the day I’m going to lay around, maybe nap then lay around some more. If that wears me out I’ll take another nap! Happy Eoster everyone. (Not a typo)
