I braved the heat this morning before it hit 90 and walked to the farmers market.
I picked up wax beans, baby eggplants, cherry tomatoes, salad greens, basil, sausage, peaches and apricots. It hit 90 by the time I got home and I hid inside since then.
Mmmm, wax beans. There was one old codger who used to sell those at the farmers market I go to, but he stopped having a booth there a few summers ago. I assume either he got too old or one of the newer markets in his area made more sense than driving an hour to the one I go to.
That stand didn’t have Italian beans but the farmer said maybe next week due to the heat. I like those even better.
For shame! That could never be Casa Encantada!
Do you see snacks or drinks? No, just some crummy bridge mix.
Also, folding chairs…I guess I was just trying to throw you all off. The D/S image library is a marvelous thing.

I never did that but I have clipped a cat’s claws. It took a week. I’d wait until it was dead asleep and then got one, two if I was lucky, then made a run for it.
figured i had to…..she was happy enough to hop along if i was there to catch her
now shes independent again
