How are the drivers where you live? I was almost in a car accident earlier this week because of a Tennessee driver going 15 under the speed limit on interstate 70.
Which blows the mind, since if you’ve ever driven through Memphis it’s like oh ok ok ok speed limit is 55, I’m doing 80 to keep pace with traffic and not die/cause accidents.
It feels like 80% of drivers here now are on their phones fucking around & not paying attention. Most of them driving well below the speed limit & stopping 5 car lengths before stop lights!
I’ve lived all over the country. Hands down the worst drivers of all are from TN. They are just like you describe: terrified of being behind the wheel. They are slow as fuck. They STOP WHEN MERGING ONTO THE FREEWAY. They are constantly making up the rules as they go because they want to be “nice” but all they really do is make driving around them totally unpredictable. I don’t miss those fuckers at all.
So, what you’re saying, is that TN is the Upper-Midwest of the South!😉😆😂🤣
The NUMBER of times I have laid on my horn, and SLAMMED on my brakes, after *SOME SCARED IDIOT* pulled the “STOP!!!”” at the end of the Freeway Entrance Ramp…
Because *someone* was a good HALF-MILE BACK from the ramp, annnnnnd the dumbass was apparently driving a pedal-powered car!😖😱🫠
Ranges from oblivious to aggressive. Thankful that I work from home.
There’s a one way street at the end of my block, and from where I sit on my porch from time to time I’ll see a car driving the wrong way, followed a little later by the same car turned around and then going the right way.
Canada’s worst!
Many fall under the category of aggressive slow. They’ll cut you off to get in front of you and then they drive like wimps. Then you wonder what’s the point of cutting me off if they’re going at sub tortoise pace?
Then we have truck drivers who get offended when you zoom past them even though they are 30 below the limit.
Lots of folks blame immigrants. Yeah there is a fair number but I’ve seen all colors do the same brainless shit. Immigrants don’t have a monopoly on shitty driving.
Yeah when you get cut off by my cousin, it’s because she wants to speed past you. You’ll also feel a whisper of a Nelly song across your soul since you can’t ever fully remove the St Louis from one of us.

New York drivers are rude, aggressive speeders. I love them all.
They’re predictable!
My experience with New York drivers has been very consistent. They’re in a fucking hurry and don’t get in their way. Easy enough to work with.

Good drivers around here. The fact that there aren’t very many of them makes it easier to be good drivers, I think.

this place is flat as a pancake with nice well maintained and for the most part fairly straight roads…not much weather beyond rain to worry about either….and people still constantly crash…
suspect most of our drivers wouldnt fare well anywhere that actually has challenging conditions
Probably a little more aggressive than the average midwest driver (Chicago suburbs). Fast, all over with no blinker, one finger up at all times. And it’s even worse if you go into the City. You better Mad Max your car and learn how to drive a hair’s width off the car in front of you without hitting them
The only exception is the 4 way stop. No one knows how they work. They don’t call it a midwestern standoff for nothin. “You go.” “No YOU GO.” […four hours later]
