I hope you know I didn’t mean it to be sexist. Assholes are assholes of any sex.
Yes, sorry, I didn’t mean that you are sexist. The tropes about women cooking and driving minivans are. But also Karens strictly uphold the patriarchy and basically value sexism. So it’s difficult not to use sexist tropes to mock them.

So, during our pointless onsite meeting today, a member of the Ivory Tower graced us with her presence and announced that “leadership” would be mandating more onsite days. The (fake) justification was so we could catch up on our work. Except the real problem is all of the vacant jobs which they haven’t prioritized filling, not our physical location in space. But none of that matters. The only thing that matters is their predetermined outcome of more people in the office so they can justify their stupid decision to hang onto the office space. Meanwhile we’re losing more people because they’re sick to death of how poorly this whole project has been run. But, no matter, because somehow being in the office will magically take care of all that.
Fucking assholes.
I always get annoyed by how much the big bosses are out of the office when they pull stunts like this. There are always regional offices to visit, or speeches to give, or retreats to attend, and so on.
And yet somehow flying back and forth between California and NYC and then to Miami for a week is essential business.
They all think they’re characters in Succession or Billions, or maybe Tony Stark overseeing the development of Vibranium tech in a dizen locations.
