Labouring For Relevance [NOT 3/9/22]

This weekend is supposed to be the week to celebrate the workers of the world as opposed to the job “creators” which is the other 364 days of the year.

So the first question: What do you like about working? Besides getting $$ that is.

Next up… Labour (Canada City Spelling) Day usually means BBQs and drinks.

What do you like to drink (non alcoholic drinks included)?

Favorite BBQ?

Thirdly… this is Star Trek month. Who is your favorite captain? (Not strictly Star Trek)

To answer my own questions…

  1. Sense of purpose
  2. Gin and Tonics (Hendricks), non alcoholic – Lemonade. Favorite BBQ- Kalbi (Korean Short Ribs LA cut.)
  3. Jeez, I can’t say Kirk because I met William Shatner once and am not a fan also let Kirk lets his ship get captured/invaded too many times to survive in an actual navy even a pseudo military one like Star Fleet. Not a Piccard guy either. Jeez, I screwed up my own question.

  1. Realizing what a problem is and then actually solving it is rare but worthwhile. Patrick Stewart seems like he’s pretty awesome, but don’t watch Green Room. And I’m a big fan of slow cooked soy/mirin ribs.

  2. 1. Insert any cheesy proud parent quote here.

    2. Lemoncoco is a refreshing BBQ drink option and when I’m not pregnant I add vodka to it.

    3. Captain Michael Burnham and Captain Philippa Georgiou together.

  3. 1 – It’s good for my mental health to be productive, keeps me out of trouble.

    2- Old Fashioned , coffee , burgers

    3 – Kermit Muppet Treasure
