    I realized the other day that for Trump’s ENTIRE LIFE, he’s been George Costanza, before George realizes he should do the opposite of what he thinks he should do. At every decision point, Trump had the option to do nothing and reap rewards, or take an idiotic course of action and fail miserably. And every time, he chooses option B. Every. single. time.

    He could have done nothing at all and just lived off Daddy’s money and been rich beyond most people’s wildest dreams. Nope, fucked it up. He had a casino and could have just sat back and collected money. Nope, fucked it up. He became president TWICE and both times could have coasted on the previous administrations’ successes and been considered a decent president. Nope, fucked it up. Honestly, just listing out all the times this has happened would take hours.

    Every time his ego and stupidity drives him to fuck it up. It would be funny if the world wasn’t paying the price.

    • And the same kind of idiot elected him in 2 of 3 times mad about (mostly lies of) what others doing what he’s doing now (corruption, manipulated by foreign governments, destroying the culture of Murrica, collapsing the world standing, etc, etc, etc.)

  5. As a mere outsider, it’s hard to feel for a lot of Murricans bitching and crying about inflation since the man they elected (or neglected to vote against) decided to take an economy that was smoothly/steadily growing and crash it right into the ground.

    • To put it bluntly, it’s not ALL Americans. I lay it at the feet of the MAGAts. They’ll run away like the weak chickenshit cowards they’ve always been in their lives.

      And the billionaires, that miserable class of hoarding egotistical shitheads. It’s hard to respect them when they also demand love as well as stealing your tax money.

    • Just after Trump’s inauguration, I was talking to a plumber at my house (he was pointing out one of the reasons I had to get the place re-piped) and I told him I would like to sell the house and move, but this wasn’t the right time. He of course misread me (because I’m an older white guy and MAGAs always assume I’m one of them) and told me “wait a year and everything will be fixed.” He wasn’t on the crew that re-piped my house. I’d have been curious to say “you told me everything would get fixed and now it’s fucked up worse than ever” and see what he said.

    His executive assistant Natalie Harp is the driving force behind some of his most incendiary content, including a racist video that depicted Barack and Michelle Obama as apes, and an AI-generated image of Trump as Jesus Christ, both of which Trump later took down.

    Harp, who is in her mid-30s, brings the president stacks of printed-out drafts of social media posts—many of them recycling content from other accounts—for Trump to approve, sources told the Journal.

        …because some of what nobody was paying for was the several “years’ worth” of top-end munitions he spaffed in a week or two…because he seems to think the load-out re-spawns like in the game on his phone…so…if you take into account the “we just buy more, simples…” level of dipshit he seems to be…& how that translates to the other sort of burn rate that most businesses aren’t about…at the rate of fire called for by his “warfighter” deal…well…ok…it’s not like they’re tridents they’re popping off…you couldn’t get 2 dozen of them for $1.5trillion…you could pick up a score & have change but…be serious…that’s at least…what does google say…ok
