    Seriously surprised how he remained considered rich.

    Apparently there is a study on people who get fooled all the time by confidence folk and fake ads and people who believe in conspiracies. The Venn diagram is almost a circle. A lot of harsh things can be said.

    The MAGATs believe in things that aren’t real and believe Trump is an instrument of justice.

    The sad thing is that if MAGATs were just a little more aware they would realize the people they vote for are the ones screwing them over. They can say the same thing about lefties and in some cases yes we are. But when you live in a world of black and white absolutes then nuance gets lost in the haze. I suspect most of us vote for the parties we do because we feel they are less terrible than the alternatives.

I still don’t think Mango Unchained will face any actual consequences given America’s general record on such things BUT we are definitely at a point where the odds are simply that one of these is gonna stick him somehow. And he’s going to spend years of his dwindling life fighting these off. It’s great, give me more!

    Crazily, they referred to a long list of GOP problems such as 1/6 and the GOP House debt limit stunt, and then summarized the governance problems they saw as a both sides problem:

    “Clearly, if you look at polarization with both parties … the Democrats have gone further left and Republicans further right, so the middle is kind of falling apart basically”

  15. Back in ye olde days of high school, our biology teacher said that part of why fast food made people bloated was that our stomach and intestines don’t quite recognize all of it as food so it kind of hangs on to it for a while to see if it can be ingested.

    I realized then and still do that her perspective was a strong oversimplifications, and yet watching that video of the Mickey D’s burger old enough to vote? Yeah definitely reinforces her point.
