Hi, friends!
I hope your day went well. Sorry this is just a basic placeholder because my day went sideways real fast at work. Normally I grab a few minutes between work to make a NOT but not today!
Anyways, talk amongst yourselves about anything.

I’ve been slowly working through my flavored teas, which is good. I tend to like tea leaf blends and not teas with added flavors, which mean I was steadily accruing a lot of flavored teas taking up cabinet space.
They’re decent enough, for the most part. So far not one has qualified for “would buy again” except a really mellow cranberry black tea.
We have a tea drawer in our kitchen. Â I have no idea what is in there until I get sick & need a lemon ginger or something.
I’ve been trying to keep tea in the house. Now that I work from home, I occasionally feel the need for a hot beverage in the middle of the day, and I don’t want to drink more caffeine. Because I drink a ton of coffee to get me going in the morning.
It must be warm where you are now, so rather than waste time making hot tea, pour yourself a refreshing glass of chilled Pinot Grigio pulled from the wine fridge.
I really should write my own lifestyle guide.
“5 stars, would recommend”
if I can get an advance reading copy, that’s the review I’d leave! 🙂
I drink a ton of tea. I just had gotten to that point that the shelf in my cabinet was overflowing with tea options and I needed to start making space.
We seem to have lost power for an hour or two today, which is a little weird because I didn’t see enough wind to knock down trees, but who knows if some truck didn’t run into a pole somewhere.
It seems to have also affected the Internet provider’s local whozit because service has gotten awfully blinky.
I vacillate between all the tea and all the coffee. Sorry to hear of your snafu day. I can commiserate. . .
I’ve come to enjoy a ginger-turmeric tea at night. I started out buying tea bags, but now I just boil some fresh ginger, store it in a jar and when I’m ready I put it in the teapot with some sprinkled turmeric.
