Mondays are overrated.
Other things are overrated, too. What is something that you think is some bullshit overrated stuff?
Golden Delicious apples are one example. Bland mush. Any other sweet apple is better. I said what I said.
Also, face wash. I hate how cosmetics and skincare companies act like their fancy pantsy special expensive face wash is somehow magical and worth $$$. The user literally washes it off after a few seconds! All the fancy ingredients possible don’t matter. The only important thing with face wash is finding one that doesn’t irritate your skin. I’ve been using fancy bar soap from a local store on my face for over a year now and it’s fabulous.
“Delicious” apples are actually pretty good if you eat them directly off the tree.
Was Jolene so fucking hot that she could steal any guy she wanted, or was Dolly’s man such a pig that he’d run off with any floozie who looked at him twice?
Jolene makes more sense as an example of surreptitious sexual longing for her. There’s all sorts of details about how gorgeous and sexy Jolene is, but not the dude.

In-N-Out Burger and quite honestly all the hyped fast food places are soooo overrated. I can go to any hole in the wall place and get something so much better for not much more cost & way better ingredients.
Agreed. I grew up surrounded by Steak’n’Shakes and they do a solid burger for low cost. Any time I get suckered into a hyped fast food place, I’m always like ugh I could have just gone to a fucking Steak’n’Shake.
I am disappointed with Shake Shack. I paid that much for so little and the burgers taste like they’re from Wendy’s.
In’n Out burgers are okay but their fresh cut fries suck.
However after eating actual Mexican tacos that I still hunger for… In N Out lost a lot of cachet in my Cali food travels.
Shake Shack is so overrated. I can’t understand how they are so popular. The fries are terrible and even the shakes aren’t that good.
I don’t know that I will ever order a milkshake out again if I don’t have first hand knowledge of their cleaning practices…

The Mona Lisa was underwhelming compared to the hype. There’s a Leonardo in DC I like a lot better.

I saw that on the news but didn’t know the indigenous part. They said military didn’t comment so must be an inside informer if they are right?
Also, McDonalds fries are fine but the hash browns are so much better.
