Hi, friends!
How is your day going? I just found out I need to work tonight on a dumpster fire of a project and I just can’t wait!

Well, during the morning I was tasked with helping out with the state MAP testing at another school in North County, so I took advantage of the location and got lunch at a Mexican place I’d heard of years ago but never been. (I was also apparently the first customer for lunch that day, so I managed to avoid the perfect storm of having Cinco de Mayo fall on a Taco Tuesday.)
Then, later on in the afternoon, I had to go out to Wentzville to interpret for an in-person medical gig. It was a much more pleasant experience than the last Cinco de Mayo that I recall spending out there, which would’ve been at the call center on the day that one of my bosses pulled some shenanigans that was probably the beginning of the end of my time there.
My horrible boss is in the home (my) office instead of being 1000s of miles away. It sucks.
Hey we were drinking tea in my living room and crocheting if you need an alibi.
I’ve got three computers each with a different AI model loaded. The four of us are gonna commence to PARTAY!
In an effort to meet new people, I joined an acquaintance’s book club. I thought it would be fun because it’s a somewhat diverse group of women. Today a few of them complained about the unhoused people who frequent the library. As if that’s not bad enough, they refered to them as “riff-raff”. Not one person called them out for it. I’m new to the group and haven’t met half of them in person yet. Needless to say, I’m dropping out.
Day went fine. Work was meh, but I left early and said I would work the rest of the afternoon from home. I went for a trail run instead. I will log on later tonight to make sure I’m not needed on anything.
