…here’s the thing though

Instead of offering President Trump a glide path back into the campaign season, Saturday’s rally in Tulsa has become yet another flash point for a candidate who has repeatedly displayed insensitivity about race.

…the importance of this date to many people…whatever the hairspray-king-of-mar-a-lago might tell himself to stave off the ever-lurking spectre of self-awareness…is a well-documented & oft-celebrated thing…but I’ll have you know in this particular backwater of the great & vasty deeps of the online universe there is perhaps one claim that might manage to give it a run for its money in our affections

…because it’s meg’s birthday y’all

many happy returns of the day…

  1. Happiest of birthdays to you Meg!!!! Today would have been my father’s 102nd birthday, he lived ’til age 94 and was a very good man. Others who share your birthday include Aung San Suu Kyi , Anne Wilson of Heart, and Kathleen Turner – obviously a day for smart and talented ladies.
