It wasn’t cancelled in the UK, but HBO/Max stopped carrying the Great Pottery Throw Down which is too bad. I liked it better than the Bakeoff.
timeless got canceled too soon…it could have run, successfully, for eternity.
no more seasons could be made bercause they catered to audience demand and wrapped it up with a final episode to conclude everything.

So many shows but Brockmire still hits the hardest!
When I was a kid, NBC aired this anthology series called Cliffhangers which consisted of three separate story lines: One was a conspiracy show (Kill Susan Anton (not really, but she was the lead)), an Aliens Vs Cowboys show similar to some 1950s movie serials and a Vampire show. Being the SF nerd, I wanted to see the ending of Aliens Vs Cowboys, but alas, that series cruelly ended on a Cliffhanger because NBC cancelled it.

Winning Time: I figured it was worth at least one or two more seasons. The fact they had to condense it into a briefer 2nd season was bullshit. John C. Reilly was brilliant in it, but this isn’t HBO of old who got away with bigger budgets and understanding execs. It’s bullshit Discovery and that fucker Zaslav who wants cheaper, shitty reality TV.
Winning Time was so good & that one really killed me. They nailed that time so perfectly.
Yeah, Winning Time had a few more seasons left in it.

im still sour about firefly…..
tho im honestly not sure whats worse….cancelling it just as its getting really good….or dragging on for several seasons after peaking….
which is kinda what i figure is what would have happened to firefly…probably not till at least the end of season 2 tho….they probably had at least enough good story stuff for season 2….any further seasons all bets are off
Archive 81 was really neat. How they managed to cancel it due to low ratings/interest SHORTLY after the 1st/only season premiered, even though there was a massive online outcry baffles me.
Kinda like when they call a state for a candidate with 2% of votes in. HOW DO YOU EVEN KNOW THIS!?
