Skagit Tulip Festival Part #2

Tiptoe ...

Here to brighten up your Sunday is a few more of my Skagit Tulip Festival pictures. It was a fun few hours in the flowers. My youngest daughter was with her roommate from Hawaii visiting for Easter (she went to my high school! Go Cougs!). The flowers were not yet at full bloom but was still a beautiful day.

The colors are so amazing, I wish tulips were fragrant!

I was shocked to learn that Roozengaarde, the biggest of our tulip farms, has only 50 full-time workers. It is still a family owned business from the original family that settled here from Holland.

I love when you catch one stray color in a sea of a different color.

I’ve taken so many tulip pictures over the years it gets difficult keeping it interesting.

Some of the newer hybrid varieties are really cool and different.

Well, that’s it for now. Hope you enjoyed wondering in the flowers.
