The second game of the 1953 NBA finals between the New York Knicks and the Minneapolis Lakers produced some of the strangest basketball ever seen. During the final nine minutes of the game, neither side could score a basket from the floor!
Both teams did manage to score a few foul shots, but although they took numerous shots from the floor, none went through the hoop. Nothing like that had ever happened in a playoff game before, and nothing like that has happened since.
