Spartanburg County, South Carolina, was the scene of a strange basketball game in 1976. A girls’ team from Mabry Junior High School took on a girls’ team from D.R. Hill Junior High, and each team took turns dominating the other.
In the first half D.R. Hill scored 26 points while Mabry got nothing. In the second half Mabry racked up 28 points while D.R. Hill’s score was zero.
The final score: 28-26, Mabry.
