I’m not too hip on the music these days (my cut off is about ’92) so I think this was my 1st taste of Shakira. I knew some of the stuff J-Lo did and really liked what I heard from the show as a whole.
Lady Gaga had a nice show a few years back but I had to go back to Prince’s show to think of one as good. This included TP and the HBs, Bruce and The Who having sub par shows.
Shakira is legit. Global superstar. Made no musical sense to even include J-Lo — let alone make her the “main act.” The show itself, as a visual spectacle, was fine! It was good!
