…no offense…but an account on bluesky that doesn’t support embeds elsewhere embedded a tik tok clip from the daily mail’s account on there that was a campaign ad by the sham-wow infomercial guy…&…that really shouldn’t be a credible artefact of a society that claims to be a serious country

Something weird is going on in the Guthrie case at least from the sparse details I’ve gotten. Maybe when the details come out, it will all make sense.
The ransom notes are the weird part. When I first heard about it, I thought about my MIL’s stroke. She fell, scraped her arms, and wandered around her apartment knocking things over and trying to call my wife, instead of asking anyone at the facility for help. Her alert pendant disappeared and we’ve still never found it. Her apartment looked like a crime scene.
So my first thought is Ms. Guthrie had an health event and headed out to get “help.” But somebody that age wouldn’t get far (though old people can surprise you). And none of that explains ransom notes.
