It’s a Christmas miracle!
I’m shocked.
I don’t even know what to think this morning.
What is even real anymore.
For a few years when I was 12-15, I got a couple of models a year to build.
I used to build them downstairs in the poorly ventilated basement because mom couldn’t stand the smell of the various mind bending, slightly toxic enamel paints and glue.
I’m surprised I didn’t become a total idiot…

It seems I still have some electronic skills. I finally replaced my Macbook battery and saved about $300 Canuck (when you factor in taxes too) buying one off Amazon… Just didn’t have the 1 1/2 straight hours required to change it till now.
Best part is no mysterious glitches because I put all the cables in properly and no extra mystery parts.
The Guardian has an article about a big cats reserve in Washington that’s had several big cats die of bird flu.
They’re thinking it’s from the raw pet food they ordered for them, which I believe tested positive for bird flu. There’s been a housecat in Oregon eating the same brand that also died of bird flu. And cases of barn cats dying of it after drinking raw milk. I don’t know if the raw pet food contained raw infected poultry or raw milk or raw beef from infected cattle.
So if you know people who feed their cats raw pet food with poultry, please let them know.
More concerning, we now have species getting infected from eating from eating raw food from other infected animals. This is really not good from an epidemiology perspective.
Especially as Whale Brain Juice Fuckwit Nepobaby Anti-vax/Anti-science RFK Jr is on his way to becoming head of Health Services in the cosmic tragic joke known as the Trump Admin.
Trump is even more erratic and out of touch than in 2020 and he’s surrounded himself with even more deranged people. Let’s all start by talking about how this is a both sides problem before pivoting to how this is really the fault of everyone but the GOP.

Yup. I’m buying up on Toilet paper and masks… not that it will help.
Until there’s sufficient viral mutations to easily jump between human hosts, we’re basically limited to nutjobs who make drinking raw milk an aspect of their identity, some poultry farm workers, and cats getting fed raw poultry products or drinking raw milk. Or I guess people who eat extremely undercooked or raw poultry?
So anyways, for a while at least it will reduce the volume of raw milk nutjobs?

which is the first person on any street to put the bin out for bin day thereby inspiring the rest of the street to also do so
sometimes there isnt a binfluencer and the whole street misses bin day…its kind of amazing

incidentally…police also got involved to…uhh…well…prevent the driver from getting lynched i think… dog owners go hard..
