    • Damn. I caught the BS, the other night when I was on Twitter, but I didn’t realize how NEW some of the residential schools were–the latest ones opening from ’68-74😳😳😳
       
      I knew they’ve done irreparable harm, to generations of families… and that folks even in the older end of GenX were made to go. 
      But I guess I’d thought/been lead to believe that the “newer” ones were still OLD–like built in the 50’s & early 60’s, not the late 60’s, and on into the mid 70’s.💔

    I do hope no one was seriously hurt–but the long slides down that hill–if no one is seriously injured–ARE a hoot😁

  4. And the OTHER thing about Coulter-the-twit’s comments–is that her racism & bigotry were SO big, she missed the fact that Chef Andres is an American citizen….
    Class act, wonderful human being, humanitarian, job provider, logistician, and We are lucky enough to have him as one of our own😁🤗💖💗💞💝

  5. Shay, the Jefferson County Superintendent, is probably a librul who comically uses the title of Dr in spite of only having a PhD in Education.

    But seriously, good for her. Snow Days are an unexpected gift full of fun possibilities. I checked the weather forecast before my morning walk, it called for 5% chance of precip. Fanny and I got snowed on the entire time. It was quiet and lovely. 

     

  6. I will just drop this here. Having a snow day is not always that much fun as an adult. I will try to stay conscious for the NOT tonight in the hope that it is one of the “complaint line” versions, but I make no promises. I am making my own chicken marsala recipe for dinner tonight (posted previously in FYCE, here):
