Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Pretty low key here if I do say so myself…

Have a super day!
Sprots are dead to me. Giants lost 40-0 to the Cowboys, which is the sprot equivalent of a brutal death and I’m not sure I’ll recover.
I don’t like either team so watching that was both brutal and hilarious at the same time. Especially after Tirico did that graphic about how much work Daboll put into decreasing turnovers.
Can’t imagine grief, ignorance and stupidity all rolled up into one.
They are so fucked up.
I guess Luis won’t be running a kissing booth in the near future.
Richard Dawson’s ghost must be wondering what the fuck is going on…
My favorite thing about Richard Dawson on that show was whenever someone would give an alcohol related answer he would turn around and yell “BOOZE!?”
Musk and Twitter are throttling access to the NY Times:
https://www.semafor.com/article/09/10/2023/twitter-appears-to-throttle-new-york-times
This comes after Musk and Twitter earlier suspended the account of a Times reporter despite no violations of Twitter rules…
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/12/15/technology/twitter-suspends-journalist-accounts-elon-musk.html
…and throttling traffic to the NY Times in another way.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2023/08/15/twitter-x-links-delayed/
This is all follows Times reporter Jeremy Peters writing an insanely naive article trying to refute claims that Musk is a right winger, and Times news reporters covering Bari Weiss and Matt Taibbi’s “Twitter Files” PR exercise in a ridiculous credulous, both sides manner.
What’s interesting is that while the Opinion section has begun blasting Musk for his antisemitic attacks on the ADL, with these two pieces in the past two days:
https://www.nytimes.com/2023/09/11/opinion/elon-musk-adl.html
https://www.nytimes.com/2023/09/10/opinion/musk-free-speech.html
the news side of the NY Times has published literally nothing about Musk and the ADL.
Nothing, despite it being a major subject for other news organizations, including the Washington Post, Politico, NBC News, CNN….
As far as Musk’s latest attack on the Times itself, Semafor’s reporter Max Tani notes that all that’s happened is “Two newsroom higher-ups at the paper said that Times leadership was aware of the issue and was examining the root of the drop off.”
They’re in a war whether they like it or not. Musk will only get worse. And there are going to be many fronts, not just them. But their execs are divided on whether it’s even happening.
Gee, I wonder who’s echo chamber helped get Ashli Babbitt killed?
