Did you see anything good today? An adult lose their mind trying to put together a new kid toy? A kid with a cool Lego set? Puzzles? Movies?
I watched the first half of the Ravens-Texans game and ahh, it’s a boring game. But! Beyonce did a halftime show with songs from her Cowboy Carter album and wow was it good! Best thing I watched all day!
The good…
I made xmas dinner today for my sisters.
Pork chops with whipped potatoes, roast squash, salad and wax beans.
The bad…
I ruined the stainless steel pot of my instapot (seal leak and all the water drained out and the steel surface burned.) Good thing I had the trivet in or I would have ruined the potatoes.
Oh man I’m sorry about your instapot. Is that part able to be ordered separately for replacement?
Yeah… I’m not paying $90 bucks for the authentic replacement though. They sell an second party replacement kit with a sealing ring set for 15% cheaper.
I watched our dog hork up a big chunk of her Christmas present, which she ate too fast, of course.
I was the only one there at the time, so it was my job to clean it up.
I think we have the same dog.
Oh, that’s annoying. I hope it was at least on a hard surface that was a fast clean up.

We watched Juror #2, directed by Clint Eastwood. He may be an old jerk, but he knows how to make a movie. He learned something from John Huston and Sergio Leone apparently. Tight, lean storytelling with absolutely no fats or filler.
Oh, I’ve been debating watching that one. I’ll have to check it out.
There was a new episode of Beyond Paradise that was cute. Agree with you on Bey’s halftime performance. They crushed it. Apparently the woman next to her is her old dance captain and she came back for this event.
