  4. Kris Kristofferson was a helicopter pilot who had also earned his Ranger tab.  This means that Kris Kristofferson was metal as hell.

    • I got to see the “room” where Hendrix used to play in a seedy dive on Printer’s Alley in Nashville when he would get weekend passes from Fort Campbell.  I put room in quotes because holy shit was that place small.  The stage was barely 10 feet wide and only about 8 inches off the floor.  The room itself was maybe 20 x 20.

  9. well sorta… phil was training to be a marine when a serious ankle injury got him discharged honourably

    (why yes…i had to google that…i just remembered something something military about him)

    • I didn’t include him because he’s kind of a dick. 🙂

      • lol..i make it a point to not know anything much about the musicians ive heard

         

        but i still pick up snippets…in this case i heard about something military and missed kind of a dick

        i figure all that info is need to know

        and i dont
