Wednesday Steel?

Inspired by last night’s DUAN, because nothing said “excess” like 1970’s Kiss. Their studio albums often sounded flat and were stuffed with filler, but their live sound and delivery were………not. With 45 years of hindsight, you might be thinking “This is hard rock, or glam.” But this is decidedly heavier than anything the New York Dolls or Poison ever came up with, and just as metal as anything Judas Priest was doing in 1977.

She’s like bad weather but it seems so good. It’s time to leave and get another quart.

  1. i think the only connection my song has to theme…is that they sound pretty old school

and thats good enough for me coz i like this band…and they are almost local..being from belgium

  2. I actually had a dream last night this morning that had Kiss playing in the family room of the house where I grew up. I ducked unseen through the adjacent open plan dining room/living room and went back to my old room to go to bed. When I woke up (within the dream at least), the band had apparently left, but there were several people as young as I was back then who were going through my closet, ripping decorations off my door and just generally ridiculing me for all the stuff they found.

Maybe the moral was that I should’ve stayed for the show. . . .

  3. These guys kinda seem like the current version of KISS, with the masks and costumes. For a while, they even aped the KISS method of concealing their identities/unmasked faces from the public.
