Let’s play a game. Each of these Amon Amarth songs was recorded in the style of another band. When you think you have a guess, post something from one of those bands.

Boy, “Burning Anvil” sounds like Judas Priest to me, although the intro could have been Iron Maiden. So I’m posting both.
Judas Priest – Screaming for Vengeance
Iron Maiden – The Trooper
I think you are right on with the first one being Judas Priest. The second one is total Black Sabbath!
the 3rd one is more Iron Maiden to me.
The last one maybe AC/DC? or maybe Accept?
One or more of these may be correct.
Way off topic but @LemmyKilmister but have you seen/heard this crazy new guitar/bass thing Steve Vai is playing?
Yeah I have. But it seems a little gimmicky to me. Does he ever actually fret the bass, or does he just pluck open strings? I mean, it’s a cool concept but I’m not finding it all that interesting to listen to so far.
Yeah, it would only be functional if you did it with a friend?
Not gonna be easy to find an after-market case for that thing…..
ETA: But there’s your “Spinal Tap” sequel, right there.
I’m going to guess, in order:
NAILED IT!!!
Go stand in the corner.
One of these is correct.
My phone is just dropping replies wherever the fuck it wants to.
getting a motorhead vibe from snake eyes…with a bit of maiden in there too…
Snake Eyes has a Lemmy vibe to it.
For the answer, here is the cover to the EP:
