  1. @LemmyKilmister I could use your encyclopedic knowledge of the metal space.  Yesterday I heard a song from a band that at first I was certain was very early Black Sabbath that I hadn’t heard before–but then the singer sounded like a woman so I realized that it was just a band heavily influenced by them.  I tried doing a Google song search but it gave me a world music group called Goat which was 100% not even close.  Any ideas?

    • Holy hell, that’s a bonkers Wikipedia entry. Short but amazing; I encourage you all to read it.

The band took their name from Smith’s use of amphetamines, and Kabe’s interest of sniffing Pro-Bond glue during the 1960s.

Some outstanding band name-song name synergy there. Way to go all in, fellas.

Shinki Chen was considered the Japanese Jimi Hendrix.

      OK, then. I’m a fan.
