Klonopin is a helluva drug.

@LemmyKilmister I could use your encyclopedic knowledge of the metal space. Yesterday I heard a song from a band that at first I was certain was very early Black Sabbath that I hadn’t heard before–but then the singer sounded like a woman so I realized that it was just a band heavily influenced by them. I tried doing a Google song search but it gave me a world music group called Goat which was 100% not even close. Any ideas?

Nothing rings a bell. I usually Google whatever snippets of the lyrics I can remember.
Windhand, maybe?
Yeah, klonopin can be a mindfucker as I’ve produced that one a couple of times.
I’ll go with the stoner metal.
Psychlona – Ride

Bonus: Playing Stoner Doom for Cows
@memeweaver, love this song (not the cow one). I will have to check out more stuff from these guys, love this sound.
Some psychedelic proto-metal from 1971.
Holy hell, that’s a bonkers Wikipedia entry. Short but amazing; I encourage you all to read it.
Some outstanding band name-song name synergy there. Way to go all in, fellas.
