Weekend Plans? [NOT 1/9/22]

Hi, friends!

We’re almost to the weekend, and for many folks in the US it’s Labor Day Weekend so we get Monday off work. Also for many areas, it’s basically the official end to summer time so it’s when pools and fun places close for the end of the season.

Anybody got fun plans? I have a friend throwing a bbq that I’m looking forward to going to.

  1. Oh, do I know how to party! Seeing the lawyer tomorrow to update the will and medical power of attorney (dnr). Dogs all get nail trims. I am seeing friends for lunch Saturday, which will be fun.

  2. I went to Yappy Hour at the dog park last night. It was very well attended, lots of adorable doggos and annoying people. That will hold me for a little while. If I feel ambitious I may drive up to see my daughter on Monday.

    • Was alcohol served? I find that makes people less annoying. Or maybe makes me more tolerant. Or maybe makes me sleepy enough so that I stop giving fucks.

      My point is alcohol helps.

      • They had food trucks and a beer/cider booth. It was fun but a little chaotic. I met some super cute  and friendly dogs though. But it was a bit much for Fanny. She gets anxious when there are too many dogs at one time. She got a pup cup though and that made her happy.

  3. i have the vitally important job of running oppos F1 live chat

    ….

so we can all pretend we arent wasting a weekend watching the racing alone

tbh its good fun…..but whomever decided most races need to be at fucking 3 pm needs to be shot hung drawn and quartered

pain in the arse time of day to be stuck for 2 hours

  4. Work at the store, dealing with Dad-stuff, annnd hopefully** going up to see him, and stopping at mom’s too.
