We’re almost to the weekend. It’s so close we can taste it.
Does anybody have fun things planned? It’s cleaning and yard work for me. I’ve hit the sad part of Fall where I need to cut back my peppers and tomatoes so the plants put their effort into ripening whatever is already developing.
My daughter is bringing back the car she borrowed. I can’t predict if she’ll want to spend any time with us though.
Guide two different contractors to see the parents house.
Maybe if I am lucky (read not lazy) then replace the kitchen faucet. It should only take an hour.
Must cut the lawn this weekend.
Do you have a Skilsaw with a hacksaw blade? The last time I replaced a faucet the bolts were stuck and I finally got sick of trying to loosen them lying on my back under the sink and finally just cut through the whole fixture.
No I do not… Which is why I have all my fingers.
This faucet has plastic mounting bolts. The last time I replaced a faucet (2021) I skinned knuckles on both hands and nearly mangled a fingertip.
I was yelling and cursing at the top of lungs for a couple of hours.
for the moment….i dont have anything i need to do this weekend….soooo….unless something new breaks or some other emergency comes up…..i think ill just be eating fresh baked bread and playing video games
(and further tweaking the pile of parts i need to order which will eventually become my new gaming pc….which is rapidly becoming a 3 grand owie to my bank account)
oh and i guess cooking actual food instead of summer nibbles as its finally getting colder here
