My house smells really good thanks to the roasted cauliflower. Also I didn’t clean my house, but I did clean 20k emails out of my inbox.

Lots of yard work on Saturday, lots of house work on Sunday. Kinda annoyed that I didn’t really have a weekend.
That’s frustrating. I hope some stuff is done for the week/season and you’ll have easier weekends coming up.
Meh, the regular weekend cooking, straightening up, etc. I did get 90% of the holiday gifts wrapped, and am ready to start on cards soon.
I got all the way through designing my holiday card and then the website wouldn’t save it.
I hate when that happens! Once I forgot to log in to the Gap website before spending an hour shopping for clothes for my kids. They prompted me to log in at checkout and that fucking deleted my shopping cart. I decided it was sign and didn’t bother buying anything from them.
Oh that’s annoying as fuck!
Drove home from vacation yesterday so we could have a day off before going back to work. Of course, I spent most of the day in the kitchen so not exactly a relaxing day but a productive one.
Yeah I hate when I have to get shit done. The only reason I didn’t spend more time with food prep today is I had a rotisserie chicken from Costco. And then decided instead of putting the dark meat into a casserole, I was just gonna eat it with some steamed frozen veggies. Fuck it.
I haven’t done squat this weekend. I’m sick and pitiful and this cough is kicking my ass. I’m going to continue lying here and doing nothing for as long as possible.
Oh that blows, I’m sorry you are still feeling so crappy! I hope it clears up quickly.
I have a case of poison ivy that is finally on the downswing. I think I caught it out in the woods planting trees on election day, and based on the odd places that broke out and the delays in showing up I also think I left traces of it on a towel and got a few repeat exposures.
Fortunately it’s not nearly as bad as a couple of other cases I’ve gotten.
I finally got the last court gig check I was expecting on Friday, so I cruised by the bank yesterday just before noon. And now I’m nice and solvent until I get paid again at the end of the week — and for who knows how long after that.
