What are you looking forward to? [NOT 31/1/22]

Hi, friends!

I hope your Monday went well. I wanted to yell obscenities at people, more than usual, at work.

Anyways.

What’s coming out soon/soon-ish that has your attention? Movies? Series? Books? Events?

I’ll start in the comments.

  1. Definitely excited about Moon Knight series on Disney+ because I like Oscar Isaacs and it looks fun.

Kinda excited about the next Dr. Strange movie. Not really a big fan of Dr. Strange, but Scarlet Witch!!!

Also stoked about Bridgerton season 2 on Netflix happening in March!

  2. Snow SNOW SNOW!! SNOWW!!!!

I wouldn’t be surprised if this coming winter storm for Ontario brings ice zombie dragons and the undead, but the (brain)dead arrived early in Ottawa this weekend to piss off most folks there.

    • Weather Channel is saying that we could get 12-18 inches here by Thursday.

St. Louis hasn’t had snow like that since the Blizzard of ’82.

If we actually get that much snow? Hahahahhahaha good luck everybody. MODOT is gonna take until March to clear our roads.

  3. I was excited about the new season of All Creatures Great and Small on PBS. Then, we discovered we had PBS passport and binged the whole new season.

      • @Hannibal – This may be an unpopular opinion – but for some reason I am not a huge fan of David Tennant. I watched him when he was the Doctor for about two seasons and then lost interest. I did watch Broadchurch but I think it was because I was really drawn in by Olivia Colman. I can’t explain it – except that there is a scene in one of the Harry Potter movies where he licks his lips like a snake and for some reason whenever I see him – that’s all I can think about. I know it sounds weird.

  4. A friend called me yesterday & invited me to meet him in San Diego for another friend’s movie premiere.  It’s in 2 weeks & should be super cool! The movie maker doesn’t know I’m coming so will be a fun surprise.  We have all known each other since we played soccer as kids.

  5. I’ve got Viburnum, persimmons and pawpaws in pots I may try to get into the ground if we get a thaw.  It’s only the shortest month of the year between now and March.

The pawpaws are going in the park — Butcher has impressed on me how much of pain they can be on your own property.

  6. I’m looking forward to the new season of Bridgerton, and there’s a new J. D. Robb book coming out soon. Other than that, I can’t really think of anything. Most of what I watch is older shows that have already wrapped up.
