I DID have to leave the house this weekend. It was against my will, but I was short on some booze to make it through the rest of the weekend.

    • A coworker once tried to buy a cheap table saw.  I asked him to check to see if the seller still had his thumbs. /extends hands sans thumbs/

      Apparently he did.

      Another friend of mine who is big into wood working, bought a very expensive table saw with all the necessary thumb keeping safeties/protections.  His former coworker (who liked to copy what my friend does) went out and bought a similar saw on the cheap sans the thumb safeties/protections and likes to drink a lot. I expect something bad to happen in his future. /extends hands sans thumbs/

       

      • My son just built a pair of big custom speakers and cut the cases himself out of 3/4 plywood and cut holes for all of the woofers etc. without losing any digits, limbs or eyes.

      You have to wonder if Don is madder because he thinks Ivanka has more dirt, or is more likely to give something away, or both. She has probably seen more and has Kushner money and may be better positioned to peel away if things ever look really bad.

      • You gotta remember the Kush fam nearly went belly up because of Jared’s awesome decision to buy 666 5th at the height of the 06 real estate boom.  They still have money only because Brookfield (a Canada City real estate firm with deep Saudi ties) miraculously leased most of 666 5th Ave to keep the Kushner family from going Chapter 7 early in the admin’s forever time.

        It is suspected that ole funeral director Jared got Brookfield 1%er welfare as thanks to “selling” US intel on Saudi Arabia to Prince Bone Saw.  One of the numerous reasons why Jared wasn’t supposed to get Top Secret Intel (because he was a slimy shit and shockingly the counter-intel analysts were right.)

        • I have little doubt he has a lot of money and property squirreled away as an escape hatch if things go sour. I pretty strongly suspect Melania has something going on too and will take care of Barron. I have a lot more doubts about the rest of the family.

  5. Womp womp to Big Pharma. Hopefully this new venture does make the staggering difference in drug costs that it claims. I realize that they probably provided the most dramatic price comparison of a life saving drug as example in order to get moral outrage traction. While I’m not familiar with the inner workings of Big Pharma/Insurance/Pharmacies, I do know that it is all unbelievably expensive or unaffordable in the States.

    Who is and who isn’t covering this story is also curious. Is Mark Cuban’s venture not that novel? Or is it actually rocking the boat? I have no idea.

    • I’m honestly curious if she’s one of those vaxxed behind the scenes antivaxxers (like everyone at Fox News whom we know is actually vaccinated but keeps spewing their anti-vax rhetoric).

      Guess if she dies we’ll find out!

       

    • Seems to Hulk Hogan-esque lawsuit to level on Gawker the NYT.

      If I had to make a guess then this lawsuit came about cause Grizzly mama needs money real bad as her Going Rouge money and PAC ran out and she won’t/can’t stop spending like she has money.  Unfortunately like most lottery winners (in this case the RW stupid lottery).
