Still a gem or two out there on the Twitters!
Have a good weekend!
I attract mosquitoes like nobody’s business. It’s ridiculous, I just accept it. Even with deet spray they still hover around. I just end up looking like a smallpox victim or something all summer long. Whatever.
That being said, if there’s ever endemic malaria in St Louis, I’ll be the first one to get it probably.
Same. I’ll have clouds of them around me and my wife, daughter, and neighbors are just staring in horror. If one slips into the house, it plagues me until I kill it. They ignore everyone else.
It’s something to do with our smell/blood chemistry. Some people are mosquito magnets.
I read somewhere that you have dengue in Florida now. 😬
Are you guys blood type O? I always heard that urban legend that O attracted mosquitos. I’m O- and I get bombarded by them too.
Nope, A+ like the good little overachieving student I was.
I just assumed I exude extra carbon dioxide since I’m so full of hot air.

My daughter drove to eastern WA yesterday. I checked her location to see if she arrived & saw she was in middle of nowhere & not where she was heading. I called her thinking she got abducted but she was just rerouted due to a fire.

I would like to say I feel bad for him. Nah, this shit is funny!

Roodles earned every penny he’s never going to see from Trump proving there’s no fool like an old fool.
A good friend who lives in Van drove thru the eastern parts of Washington recently. He was surprised to see the disparity between the coastal region and the interior. He said it was quite stark and somewhat depressing as opposed to the rural areas of Canada he regularly drives thru.
Yes it is. Spokane is a pretty city but most of eastern WA is just farm fields and Trump signed hick towns.
We’re in an Airbnb up “near” Cle Elum for the weekend with family. The air quality is so bad right now that I can’t see the forest or surrounding mountains anymore.
@HammerZeitgeist sorry you are having to deal w/ all the smoke. We have a haze at my place but at least not smelling the smoke so far. I used to snowmobile around Cle Elum in the mountains & there are some beautiful hikes around there. Have you ever done the Iron Horse trail tunnel? It is super fun but you need a flashlight, best on a bike. You are basically going from Hyak to just past Snoqualmie Pass in a train tunnel. We used to bike it all the way to Rattle Snake lake.

That sounds like a real adventure! I haven’t hiked any trails. I’m stuck in the cabin with baby. The rest of the family is out at a lake beach then hitting up an art fair/festival at Suncadia. And by stuck I mean we’re grooving to R&B while I drink a glass of sparkling wine and
giving each other avocado facialsattempting to eat avocado toast. The hero we needed…
