When the week seems interminable, I like to think of our shared boyfriend, Stanley Tucci. I imagine how lovely it must be to be in his company. Usually it happens on a Tuesday for me (my weeks have been long recently). Technically it is Tuesday as I type up this NOT so I’m right on brand.
What or who helps you guys get through the week?…other than our wonderful microcosm here at Deadsplinter.
That’s all I got for you lovelies.

I am so fucking stoked that Searching for Italy is finally airing this Sunday! That will always give me something with which to look forward each week.
CNN!+ (or whatever the hell they called it) might have made it if they’d only given him the cash for 50 shows already.
Jeff Zucker and company just didn’t understand that people want more than just shouty people all the time.
I’d subscribe to a Tucci channel!
The streaming service had two problems. The first was that it wasn’t designed to air breaking news. The second was that the people running Warner fucking hated Zucker and allowed their personal animus to override any possibility of fixing the streaming service once the sale of CNN was finalized. So, they just pissed away millions of dollars and fucked over a shitload of actual humans because they could.
Me too! I must confess I haven’t watched all the episodes of the first season. It’s one of those shows that I hoard until I know there is more.
These guys are helpful
Dogs, primarily my own but other people’s dogs make me happy too. I spend a lot of time at the dog park and have made some great friends there. A couple of weeks ago it was Fanny’s birthday and she had a party. We brought cans of Reddi-Whip and Milkbone cookies and made pup cups. Not just for our friends dogs but all the dogs there. They were so well behaved, only one tried to steal another dog’s treat. I’ll post pics on the next creature feature. There was a guy there with his Aussie pup, Shep, and we ran into him at the park today. He thanked me again for including them and said Shep is still talking about it, lol.
Fanny made a new friend today too, a sweet little dog named Poppy. She had such a great personality, was having a wonderful time running and playing, was just so damn joyful. I’m smiling now thinking about her. And right before we left some folks came in with a couple of Borzois, a Whippet, and a Greyhound. Watching them run was breathtaking. And another woman was there with a Papillon that could walk on its front legs. Its not always that exciting but it’s usually a nice place to spend an hour.
That whole doggie story made me 😊
I know it’s a cliché but we really don’t deserve them.
Jose Cuervo is a great friend that brings joy & never asks for anything back. Â Stephan Colbert always cheers me up too.
I don’t know what it is about tequila but it brings out my wild side and then I tend to black out… but I haven’t drank it responsibly yet.
We have a regional fast food taco place that is now serving to-go margaritas. 😈
My wife has made it clear that if Stanley Tucci called, she’d be out the door with a suitcase before she hung up the phone. You know, I don’t really mind. If he called me, I’d pack a bag too.
I don’t even know why I’m supposed to know who Stanley Tucci is.
Blasphemy! Where’s my pitchfork and torch?
