Can I Pet That Dog? [NOT 25/3/25]

Hi, friends!

What would you pet, knowing you shouldn’t?

The St Louis Zoo did a polar bear swaperoo because the Toledo Zoo is hoping their lady polar bear and the StL Zoo’s fella polar bear will make more polar bears.

So we currently have her last 2 cubs, brothers who are about the age where mother polar bears kick their kids out to the world.

I want to pet them. I know I would end up super dead. But omg they’re so cute.

This post title is brought to you by this little Appalachian girl her desire to pet the dog/bear.

For reals though, who wants to pet these 2 cuties? They look like they give great hugs!

  1. i figure any cat that is smaller than me must be petted

i also think wolves are good doggies

really the only reason im still alive is we dont have any cats bigger than bobcats….and wolves are people shy

      • tbh…by personal experience….theres 2 animals i fear

        sheep and cows

dont let the docile appearance fool you

        they are evil and treacherous

is like…oh look…they dont mind me at all *bam* headbutt*

and a sheep headbutt tends to be in a particularly sensitive area of mine….

        • Everyone thinks vegetarians are not aggressive. No, they’re not. Why? Because every predator looks at them as food so they gotta be mean.

Moose are mean. They never bit any of my sisters but they will fuck up a pickup with a head butt. I’ve heard several stories of pickup trucks taking on moose up north and losing.

  2. As a former parrot owner I love to pet parrots & they love to be scratched on the top of their heads, under their beak & under their wings.  That said, if you don’t have a very good relationship w/ the bird you will lose a finger from a small parrot or entire hand from a Hyacinth macaw.  The place I got my bird from was broken into & they tried to steal a Hyacinth & he bit the guys entire hand off.  They found him almost bleeding out in the store.  Good bird!!!!

  3. I usually avoid petting wild animals because wild. As for dogs I will happily pet them if their owners give permission.

I think the only dog owner who was very unfriendly was the psycho resident at my ex’s former condo who a few years later went on a shooting rampage.
