Surprise Live Music
A few days ago I was out for a jog, and as I passed the old decomissioned water tower near my house, a crowd was gathering.

There was a hand-lettered sign with the cryptic message WATER TOWER EVENT.

And as soon as I could figure things out, I went home and grabbed my camera, because it was a free concert.

A band was playing old R&B covers — Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Marvin Gaye, Motown and Atlantic. A bunch of people gathered to listen despite the heat.

A great surprise for a weekend afternoon.

Ah, that looks really fun.
The serendipity is a nice feeling. It’s good knowing interesting stuff is being organized around you.
That’s a beautiful water tower. Nice that you stumbled across a fun event.
Excellent.
