For the last several years I have been disputing overblown claims that political correctness is running amok on college campuses. Given my job as the president of Wesleyan University, well-known to be (happily) a bastion of left-leaning protest, this probably isn’t very surprising.

…so it really has come to this, it seems

  1. This sentence just got a perfect score on the SAT

…unlike the sociopathically amoral mental defectives that think any of this disgrace of an administration’s efforts are anything but a vainglorious exercise in malfeasance on every level…

  2. hahahahahahahahahaha *dies*
seems america just decided for the un to re impose all the sanctions on iran
    https://www.nytimes.com/2020/09/19/us/politics/us-iran-un-sanctions.html
every other country in the un pretty much said uhhh no and is pretty much planning to ignore the screaming toddler with the very large army
probably shouldnt have fucked of out of the deal if you still wanted to have a say in it
why am i finding this funny?
oh how the mighty have fallen

      • …sometimes they do that…like the NYT links above the line but without the option of adding a “caption” line

…there might be a way to stop them but I haven’t quite figured it out?

[edit to add – I tried to make the link at least open in a new tab & that seems to have un-embedded it so no picture now…but that’s an awkward process that involves a trick I don’t think is generally available on a post I didn’t write?]

      • yup lol
but really…its incredible how far the states status has fallen in just 4 years
i mean…after bushes WMDs it took a major hit
        but this shit?
its going to take a loooooooooong time to fix all this damage…and im not sure the trust will ever come back

        • If the rest of the world is smart, the trust will never come back.  There will always be the very real danger of a Republican in the White House which means doing everything they can to wipe out whatever goodwill was built by the preceding Democrat and then burning it all down every time.  We will never have credibility as long as the Republican Party continues to exist.
