The team I was a part of was part of his team (at the very bottom) and we (and pretty much the entire dept) did malicious compliance till that motherfucker had to be “transferred” as he created an environment so toxic by his own hand. It was rumored that he had been threatened with a physical beating by one his own dept heads and he ran away like the fucking coward he was (he was okay attacking weaker underlings and women, but not someone who could tear him apart.)
